The virtual American Association for Cancer Research Annual Meeting 2021 will span the spectrum of cancer science—from population science and prevention; to cancer biology, translational, and clinical studies; to survivorship and advocacy—and highlights the work of the best minds in research and medicine from institutions all over the world.
Vanderbilt University Medical Center presenters to include:
- Jeffrey C. Rathmell, Ph.D., will present on T-cell metabolism in tumors (April 9, on-demand session).
- Stephen Fesik, Ph.D., will present on systematically drugging RAS (April 9, on-demand session).
- Brian Rini, M.D., will give an e-poster presentation on the phase III clinical trial IMmotion 151 involving renal cell carcinoma patients (available April 10).
Vanderbilt researchers will also present on overcoming cetuximab resistance, early detection of lung cancer, use of magnesium with metformin to prevent cancer in type 2 diabetes patients, and racial differences in somatic mutations in cancer patients.
